How are the Lash Extensions applied?
A single natural eyelash is isolated and a synthetic lash is glued to the top of the natural lash, approximately 1mm
from the base of the natural lash. Therefore contact with the eyelid is avoided.

How long will the application take?
The procedure will take approximate 2 hours, this is a meticulous procedure that requires patience and
concentration.  The client just relaxes with closed eyes while the lashes are being applied.  It is not uncommon for
the client to fall asleep during the process.

What are fill-ins and why do I need them?
Fill-ins are placed when the lashes start to fall out or look unnatural.  Every 2 to 4 weeks, you will need to return to
have some of the lashes replaced.  This procedure will take about 1 hour.

Do eyelash extensions make my own eyelashes fall out?
Absolutely not!  Eyelashes have a cycle of coming out just like the hair on our head.  If you pull hard enough on an
extension, both the natural and extension will fall out and it will take about a month for the natural lash to grow back.

Can I wear eye makeup?
Yes, but there will be no need for mascara and possibly you may wish to discontinue eyeliner, the eyes show off so
beautifully with Eyelash Extensions, you may decide, little to no makeup is needed.

Can I curl or perm Eyelash Extensions?
No.  The lashes have a natural J curl therefore, curling is not needed.  Curling the extensions may damage them or
lessen the life of them.

How long do they last?
Approximately 2 to 4 weeks, depending on how you care for them.  This is a semi permanent procedure.  Do not be
duped by those claiming to have Extensions that last 2 months.  A real lash cycle is about 25 to 28 days, therefore,
your natural lashes will grow and shed.  It is not honest for an Extension Specialist to claim lash extensions will last
longer than the cycle of lashes.

Are Eyelash Extensions suited for everyone?
As long as there is a natural lash to apply the extension to, any one of any age can have Eyelash Extensions.  Ladies
who have undergone chemotherapy and are just getting their lashes back, love to have the procedure done.
Extensions can be worn by those who wear contacts or glasses.  They have such a natural look that any one with
sparse lashes benefit from them and are able to see a great difference.

What kind of care will my Eyelash Extensions need?

    •   Avoid getting lashes wet for the first 12 hours.
    •   Do not visit a steam room for the first 48 hours after getting the extensions.
    •   Be very gentle with your lashes, avoid rubbing or scratching your eyes.
